True through-flow, in-line pressure wave interceptors. No moving parts, nor any foam to degrade, no Nitrogen pre-fill. The extent to which this transient spike interceptor also works as an acceleration head / volumetric flow fluctuation attenuator depends on your stated liquid modulus.

ONE GALLON IS NOMINAL
The table shows that as pressure increases, the volume decreases. This is because of construction from schedule pipe materials; which have a constant external dimension, so as wall thickness is increase to accommodate higher pressures the internal volume decreases.
